Slipper Stop
The Slipper, history
The word slipper comes from then English in 1478. Because that type of footwear, slipped onto the foot. They are made with nice, soft material. They need to keep your feet warm in the winter, right?
"Slipper" is the word some people use for sandals or flip-flops, like in Hawaii. But we are talking about the ones you want to slip on at home on cold days, sitting by the fireplace, reading a book and drinking hot chocolate.
Now some people like their slippers so much that they wear them outside the house. This is considered a fashion don't. But if you don't care about fashion "right" and "wrong" then who cares. Wear them wherever you like. Just try not to take the bright, big ones that have some sort of animal or whatever on it out in public. Do society a favor. I've got nothing against those ones but wearing them outside screams weirdo.
Slippers are for everyone. There are mans slippers. Even the tough men have to have something to keep their feet warm.
Don't forget the children and their child slippers or your daughter and her ballet slippers.
I would think the moccasin slippers or the sheepskin slippers are the most comfortable kind. Go buy yourself some slippers!
